The IEEE Computer Society is the world’s leading organization of computing and information technology. The IEEE Computer Society traces its origins to the 1946 formation of the Sub-committee on Large-Scale Computing Devices (LCD) of the American Institute of Electrical Engineers (AIEE). At present with more than 60,000 members, 350+ worldwide chapters, and 40 technical communities it is one of the principal and fastest growing society within the IEEE community.
The goal of IEEE Computer Society (C-S) AIUB Student Branch Chapter is to create opportunities for the students to meet with industry leaders, participate in professional development programs and develop contacts for internships and future career opportunities.
The official date of formation of IEEE C-S AIUB Student Branch Chapter is 6th of June, 2018.
