On 22nd July 2019, IEEE AIUB Student Branch organized an IEEEmadC Ideas Stage Awareness session titled “Ambassador’s Session on Introduction to IEEEmadC” at American International University Bangladesh, Bangladesh Section. Mashrur Sakib Choyon; Event Designer, IEEE AIUB SB; Ambassador, IEEE madC; conducted the session with the IEEE members of the student branch and other students. The session focused on the importance of android applications in this modern era. The participants were introduced to the basic rules and standards of the IEEEmadC as well as given some basic ideas on how a mobile app can be created using Android Studio. The session gave a brief idea to the participants on many sides of the competition which brings the participants to a platform to compete with a world of innovative thinkers on the same platform. The time periods & deadlines of the three stages of the competition were also mentioned during the session. Some videos were shown to the participants that created a much clearer concept of what were the features of the apps that became champions in previous years. Mobile App building software, ‘Android Studio’ and its features were also elaborated by showing a video to the participants; explaining how easily they can make a mobile app with the software.
Later, a “Question & Answer” session was held where the ambassador answered all questions of the participants with a brief explanation. The participants were very motivated in joining the mobile app development competition as they got a much clear concept of the competition from the session.
